    This publication has two main objectives: to inspire researchers, professors, students, and professionals in the areas of language teaching and applied linguistics to write academic and research essays and articles and to socialize the work and studies that have been produced in those areas.

    This ninth issue of the CIEX Journal contains some research articles produced by national and international researchers; a cultural essay, written by a Spanish writer and the editor, and the summaries of the 8th Symposium, developed at CIEX this year.

    Researchers and specialists in the areas of language teaching and applied linguistics from national and international institutions form the editorial team of the Journal. The editorial process includes the stages of reading and analysis of the articles and essays and then the generation of some suggestions to improve those papers. Finally, the software “Plagscan” is used to guarantee the originality of the works presented.

    We invite teachers, scholars, learners, and specialists in the areas of language teaching and applied linguistics within Mexican and international educative sceneries, to submit some articles or essays to be evaluated and then published in the Journal.

    The main goal of this issue is to publish the research and work that have been produced in the fields of language teaching and applied linguistics in Mexico and aboard. One of the main reasons for publishing this Journal has to do with motivating researchers, professors, students, and professionals in the areas of language teaching and applied linguistics to produce academic and research articles.

    This seventh issue of the Journal contains research articles written by national and international scholars, researchers and specialists in the areas of language teaching and applied linguistics. In this opportunity, we are publishing an article written by a researcher from Spain. Additionally, two essays written by two CIEX students from the BA program, related to relevant moral values, are presented. These essays have to do with humility and with kindness; the purpose of publishing these works is to incite these positive values in students, professors, parents, and all the readers of this issue.

    As it is well known, national and international researchers and specialists in the areas of Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics are the team of referees of this Journal. The referees have read, examined, valued, and generated some suggestions to each article in order to enrich and improve those papers. Another procedure of the editorial activity consists on reviewing the revised versions of each work by a group of editors who have also read and produced some other suggestions to enhance those papers. It is necessary to state that the content of all the papers purely reflect the authors´ own investigation, understandings, and/or opinions and that content does not necessarily represent the ideas or beliefs of the main editor or the team of editors.

    Finally, we profoundly want to recognize the students, the professors, the investigators, and the CIEX Journal editorial committee for their contributions to this seventh issue. In addition, we would like to invite all the readers of this Journal to send some articles or essays to revision in order to be published in the next issue of the Journal. Certainly, those papers will absolutely contribute to the academic growth, improvement, and the professional development of the readers: instructors, scholars, learners, and specialists in the areas of language teaching and applied linguistics within Mexican and international contexts.

    This sixth issue of CIEX Journ@l publishes some of the most recent research articles, moral values essays, and some of the summaries of the sessions offered in the “Miguel Murga Caro†7th International English Symposium. The purpose of this issue is to present the studies and work that have been produced in the fields of language teaching and applied linguistics in Mexico and in some other countries. Another purpose of publishing this Journ@l consists on inspiring researchers, teachers, students, and professionals in those areas to produce academic and research articles, so the editors can contribute to the publication of those relevant papers.

    Therefore, this number of the Journ@l contains research articles written by national and international scholars, researchers, and specialists in the areas of language teaching and applied linguistics. Additionally, in this issue, an essay written by a CIEX student from the BA program, related to some moral values, is presented. This essay has to do with the importance of taking care of animals and the purpose of publishing this work is to encourage positive outlooks related to the topic in students, professors, parents, and all the readers of this issue. Moreover, some of the summaries of the conferences and workshops offered in the “Miguel Murga Caro†7th International English Symposium organized by CIEX, are published in this number with the objective to present the rest of the sessions developed in this international academic event.

    As it is well known, national and international researchers and specialists in the areas of language teaching and applied linguistics form the team of referees of this Journal.     Last of all, we deeply want to recognize the pupils, the professors, the investigators, and the CIEX Journ@l editorial committee for their contributions to this sixth issue. In addition, we would like to invite all the readers of this Journal to contribute with articles or essays to be sent to revision in the future in order to be issued in a next production of the Journal. We are certain those works will absolutely contribute to the academic growth, improvement, and educational progress of the readers: instructors, academics, learners, and experts in the areas of language teaching and applied linguistics within the context of Mexico and the setting of other countries.

    CIEX Journal is an academic and research magazine printed in Chilpancingo, the capital city of the state of Guerrero, México. The idea of publishing this Journal, emerged as a response to the effort made by professors, students and authorities who are always in search of innovative teaching methodologies, techniques and strategies, and who have produced studies related to the areas of language teaching and applied linguistics.

    Therefore, the content will present research articles produced by national and international researchers and specialists in the areas of education and language education, as well as articles about personal development and growth, related to moral values and culture. Finally, the Journal will present proceedings produced in the 3rd International Symposium: “Educational Current Trends: Challenges and Perspectives in Language Teachingâ€, with the objective to spread the content of the lectures and workshops held in that academic event organized by the institution.

    It is necessary to say that the editorial team is constituted by a group of national and international researchers in Foreign Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics who have analyzed each proposed article and generated some suggestions to improve those works. Therefore, the magazine has been reviewed by a team of referees. It is also worth to mention, that the content of the articles reflects the authors´ research, perceptions, and/or opinions and does not necessarily represents the ideas or beliefs of the editors.

    Finally, we thank the students, professors and staff for their contribution to this project that will fulfill a dream for a long time expected. Also, we will be looking forward for future articles that any other professionals in the areas of the Journal might want to summit in order to be published in the next number of this CIEX Journal.

    Those articles will certainly contribute to the education of individuals devoted to the areas of language teaching and learning and help them to be better human beings in the future.
